Our History

Ayden-Grifton High School’s JROTC program was established in August of 2000. We are now in our eleventh year of existence.  The JROTC program here at Ayden-Grifton is one of six JROTC Programs within the Pitt County School System.  The first SAI (Senior Army Instructor) was LTC Loftin and AI (Army Instructor) was SGM Royal. The current SAI and AI are Master Sergeant Robert Dawson and Sergeant First Class Ernest Reese, Jr.  The JROTC Charger Battalion is committed to serving our Community.
